What You’ll Be Doing:
- Full-time hours: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Mon to Friday and Every 3rd Saturday 8am to 1pm
- You’ll be the first point of contact for customers bringing in their cars for service, maintenance, or repairs.
- Help customers book in their vehicles, provide updates on their service progress, and explain any repairs or recommendations clearly.
- Work alongside technicians to ensure the smooth operation of the service department, making sure everything runs on time.
- Handle customer inquiries, answer questions, and provide advice on services and vehicle care in a professional yet friendly manner.
- Keep track of customer details and service history, and update records accurately in our system.
- Assist with invoicing and processing payments once work is completed.
- Ensure customers are satisfied with the service they receive and keep them coming back for future visits.
- You'll get hands-on training at our state-of-the-art centre in Derby, with travel and accommodation provided.

What We’re Looking For:
- Organised and ready to learn
- Good with computers and tech
- Someone who enjoys interacting with all sorts of customers
- A positive attitude and a “can-do” approach to challenges
- GCSEs in Maths, English and ICT (A-C grades, or equivalent) are great, but not essential
- You’ll play a key role in making sure customers get the parts they need, whether it’s for repairs, servicing, or upgrades.
- You’ll use our company’s computer system to log stock movements and place orders, ensuring we have the right parts in stock at the right time.
- Work closely with your colleagues and customers to provide exceptional service, helping to improve parts sales performance and solving any issues that arise.
- You'll get fully trained in the role, and upon completion of your apprenticeship, you’ll earn a Level 2 Retailer Standards qualification.
- Off-the-job training takes place in residential blocks, and all travel and accommodation costs are covered by the company.
