Lexus Hybrid SUVs offer the versatility to drive using either electric energy or a combination of petrol and electric. There are two variants for a hybrid electric vehicle.
These are:
Lexus Self-Charging Hybrid Model – has a fuel tank and a battery which is self-charged by the vehicle whilst moving or slowing down. The car seamlessly chooses the petrol engine, electric motor or a combination of both to power the car to meet your needs. The Performance Hybrid is a high-performance variant using self-charging technology.
Lexus Plug-in Hybrid Model – combines Lexus Self-Charging Hybrid performance with the electric capability of an EV to provide a refined yet powerful driving experience, electric range and efficiency. A PHEV has a fuel tank and a large battery that is charged through plugging in to a charging point as well as whilst moving.

Every new Lexus comes with up to a 10 year manufacturer warranty. This is provided through an initial 3 year manufacturer warranty that can be extended with regular servicing at a Lexus Centre. A 12 month warranty is included with every Lexus Service, up to 100,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first, giving you a chance to relax in the knowledge that you and your vehicle are in safe hands.
