The All-New Lexus RZ has arrived at our Lexus Centres. All-New RZ is the next chapter in Lexus becoming a 100% BEV brand by 2030.
Join us as we visit Lexus Birmingham to take the covers off one of the first All-New Lexus RZ cars to arrive in the UK, an All-New Lexus RZ Takumi in beautiful and eye catching Sonic Copper and Black Bi-Tone paintwork.
All-New RZ is the first dedicated all-electric vehicle from Lexus. Standing for Radiant Zero, with Zero indicating the fact this is a zero-emissions vehicle. The first generation of All-New RZ combines brave design with imaginative technology and the latest developments in electric drivetrains.
All-New RZ comes in three specifications: Premium, Premium Plus Pack and Takumi. All specifications come with the powerful 450e drivetrain and battery technology as well as a 14" infotainment screen, machined finish 18" alloy wheels, Lexus Link Pro and Lexus Safety System +. Premium Plus Pack adds technology such as a heads-up display, radiation heating and Digital Panoramic View Monitor. Takumi offers the ultimate Lexus experience with multi-colour ambient lighting, dimmable panoramic sunroof and 13-speaker Mark Levinson® Premium Surround Sound System.

All-New RZ has an undeniably powerful design which instantly stands out thanks to the striking yet minimalist look. The exterior design is sleek and elegant whilst the sharp lines and large alloy wheels hint at the performance capability of this car.
With no need to design the car around a combustion engine, All-New RZ features a much lower bonnet line than previously seen on a Lexus which is complemented with muscular front wings and smaller air intakes. Whilst the signature Lexus Spindle grille has evolved to become smoother and more incorporated with the rest of the car. The sleek LED headlights with quadruple design integrate into the Spindle to give the front-end a flowing and powerful design.
The side profile of All-New RZ features a powerful silhouette, which is enhanced by the long wheelbase which not only provides a strong design but also expresses the lower centre of gravity and excellent driving dynamics.
The stand out style of All-New RZ can be extended further by specifying the optional bi-tone bodywork, as seen on our car, which extends the contrasting black areas from the roof to the bonnet.

The magic of stepping into the All-New RZ starts from the moment you open the doors with the e-latch door handles and ‘IN-EI’ illumination which is projected onto the insides of the doors to create a shimmering effect of light. Following this greeting the next thing you appreciate are the quality materials and beautiful touches from the famed Lexus Takumi craftspeople.
All-New RZ is a showcase of the Tazuna concept, which sees the layout of the interior prioritised around the needs of the driver. The precise positioning of controls and displays ensures that there are only small hand and eye movements required by the driver to operate the vehicle.
Centre piece of the interior is the large central 14” touchscreen which offers fast responses to user inputs and controls vital features such as connectivity, climate and navigation. All-New RZ comes with a powerful electric drivetrain which encourages you to enjoy the drive. The All-New RZ has 308hp which allows acceleration from 0-62mph in 5.6 seconds. The 71.4kWh battery provides a range of up to 271 miles which could be enough to drive from London to The Lake District.
The battery has ground-breaking technology such as rapid charging, battery control and a battery warming system. With ultra-rapid charging up to 150kW, All-New RZ can recharge from 0-80% in 25 minutes to guarantee convenience on those longer road trips. The battery control technology ensures the battery retains 90% of its original capacity even after 10 years of use to provide peace of mind. Finally, the battery warming system ensures the battery always operates as efficiently as possible despite the climate conditions to maximise range and recharging times.
Whilst All-New RZ has been designed to deliver efficiency, delivering a engaging driving dynamics was also a priority. The Drive is Everything.

The optional Digital Panoramic View Monitor creates a 3D model of your vehicle on the central screen and displays your car on 360 degree live image. This allows you to view your entire surroundings and what is under the car. This makes it much easier to manoeuvre the car in tight spaces.
The optional panoramic roof adds to the feeling of space and light inside the car. The roof is also dimmable and can reflect infrared radiation to reduce heat entering or escaping the interior. This enables the car to use less energy to power the climate control which increases the range per recharge.
All-New RZ also features the latest generation of the Lexus Safety System + which includes a Pre-Collision System which helps avoid potential accidents. The ability to avoid accidents is further enhanced by the Emergency Steering Assist.
