How does the Motability scheme work?

The Motability scheme has been designed to help disabled people, members of the Armed Forces and war pensioners lease a brand new car as part of their Motability allowance, funded by the government. Currently, Lexus offers our UX Hybrid SUV through the Motability scheme. You can choose up to 3 named drivers to add to your insurance and feel comfortable in the fact that service, maintenance and repair costs are covered for the next 3 years.

Am I eligible for the Motability scheme?

You may be entitled to join the Motability scheme if you receive any of the following government-funded allowances (with at least 12 months’ award length remaining):

• Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
• Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
• War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
