For more than 60 years the Toyota GR team have been racing in all kinds of motorsports around the world, developing new technologies and solutions which filter down in to the Toyota model range.
GAZOO Racing originates from the Japanese words ‘Gazo’, meaning picture, and ‘Gareji’ meaning garage. In the motorsport scene, engineers pictured unique and individual cars in garages, which is where the term ‘GAZOO Racing’ was born.
The future looks just as exciting as the past with GR dedicated to sustainable motorsport, developing advanced hybrid technologies and experimenting with hydrogen power.
The Toyota GR Series incorporates knowledge and technology born from Toyota GAZOO Racing.

The GR Series consists of:
GR Supra – this legendary car offers either 2.0 or 3.0 litre turbocharged engines and promises an unbeatable feeling. The GR Supra is racing inspired, inside and out to give you the best drive. GR86 – this model brings together motorsport-inspired aerodynamics, making it the perfect weight to give you an agile and dynamic drive. The GR86 offers a dynamic and invigorating drive. Discover the GR86 in more detail here.
GR Yaris – this model is no normal hot hatch and it brings know-how and cutting-edge motorsport technology to the road. The GR Yaris is born from the World Rally Championship. Find out more about the GR Yaris here.
Whilst the GR Series boasts our range of sports car models, the GR SPORT relates to the premium grades of our range of everyday models.
Looking to fall in love with driving again? Experience the feeling of GR at our nominated centres by taking a test drive. At our nominated GR Centres, you’ll be looked after by GR Specialists with the same passion as you. Each nominated GR Centre has a range of GR Series demonstrators, allowing you to experience the whole range.
Our GR Specialist centres are – Birmingham, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Letchworth, Milton Keynes, and St Albans.
