
We were thrilled to hold our first-ever Excellence Awards, recognising and celebrating our colleagues for their outstanding contributions and achievements.
The event, which took place on 13th November at Hotel La Tour in Milton Keynes, brought together employees from our Head Office and 43 Toyota and Lexus Centres, alongside our CEO Steven Eagell and the senior leadership team. Guests enjoyed a three-course dinner and live entertainment, with the ceremony hosted by actor and comedian Omid Djalili.
Awards were presented to colleagues working across all departments, recognising exceptional performance in areas such as customer satisfaction and sales volume. We also introduced the Excellence Recognition Award category, celebrating over 60 employees who play vital behind-the-scenes roles. These often-unsung heroes - including hosts, drivers, administrative staff and colleagues in accounts, marketing and customer support - were honoured for their consistent demonstration of excellence.
Founded in Milton Keynes in 2002, we have grown from one small dealership to a multi-award-winning retailer, selling over 50,000 vehicles and generating over £1 billion in annual turnover. Despite this rapid expansion, we continue to prioritise the values our company was founded on - hard work, integrity and care, while being proud to retain our strong sense of family values.
The Excellence Awards mark a significant milestone in our ongoing investment in our people. This follows recent enhancements to our Employee Value Proposition, including improved sick pay, maternity benefits and holiday allowances. New ways to connect and communicate have also been introduced, including quarterly company newsletters and Town Hall meetings. These initiatives are all underpinned by a clear belief - when you look after your people, they will drive your success.

Our first-ever Excellence Awards was a fantastic evening of celebration, achievements and great pride in what we have accomplished this year. The awards didn’t just recognise exceptional performance and results, they celebrated the attitude, passion and positive spirit that make our company so unique.
We’ve experienced tremendous growth since opening our first dealership in 2002, and this success has undoubtedly been driven by the commitment and talent of our people. This occasion was our opportunity to thank our colleagues for everything they do. We hope they thoroughly enjoyed the evening and felt truly celebrated for everything they contribute.
