We are thrilled to have secured a £1,800 grant for CPSL Mind, to support them in providing pamper kits to new mothers attending their ‘Mums Matter’ eight-week course.

CPSL Mind is a regional charity that covers the Cambridge, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire areas. The charity aims to promote positive well-being, while supporting local people experiencing mental health challenges. It offers a wide variety of services including Crisis Support Sanctuaries to provide a vital lifeline to those experiencing severe mental health difficulties and Good Mood Cafés, enabling people suffering from depression or anxiety to connect with like-minded people.

In addition to these services, CPSL Mind runs an eight-week course called Mums Matter, aimed specifically at women experiencing mental health challenges in the perinatal period, as well as those suffering from symptoms such as worrying thoughts, anxiety and postnatal depression. Each mum attending the course receives a pamper kit, filled with goodies they can take home to help them relax and prioritise their mental wellbeing. The funding we secured for CPSL Mind will be used towards these pamper kits, enabling the charity to provide them to over 100 new mothers for an entire year, while improving the quality of the kits and their contents.

We obtained the grant through the Toyota Community Fund, a programme of small grants designed to help local charities, schools and community projects. In the past financial year, the fund has supported many deserving causes in the UK, from schools to cancer care charities.

We’re thrilled to secure this funding through the Toyota Community Fund and we hope it helps to support CPSL Mind and the important work it does.

The Toyota Community Fund is operated by the Toyota (GB) Charitable Trust on behalf of Toyota (GB) PLC and Toyota Financial Services, Registered Charity Number 327808.
