We are thrilled to secure a £1,750 grant for It Takes A City. The charity works hard to end rough sleeping and homelessness in Cambridgeshire, making sure everyone has somewhere to call home, with the support they need.
The funding secured by our Toyota Cambridge Centre will contribute towards the refurbishment of the Crossways, the charity’s 20-bed emergency winter accommodation. The Crossways is a project designed to provide a safe and comfortable place to stay for people who would otherwise be sleeping on the streets.
As part of the grant, we contributed a proportion of the £1,750 grant, with the remaining funding provided through the Toyota Community Fund.
The funding will help transform the accommodation into a more welcoming and comfortable environment. Planned improvements include updating the existing shower and wet room, replacing taps and toilet fittings, installing new carpets, replacing damaged furniture and decorating rooms to create a more homely space.
The Toyota Community Fund is a programme of small grants designed to help local charities, schools and community projects. In the past financial year, the fund has supported many deserving causes in the UK.

We will inform you of the amount of commission that we will earn in good time before the finance agreement is entered into and ask you to consent to its payment. You do not have to take our finance. You can arrange funding of your vehicle elsewhere and in some cases it may be cheaper.
