Funding Secured for Cassiobury Infant and Nursery School

We are thrilled to secure a £2,000 grant for Cassiobury Infant and Nursery School to support them in expanding their facilities.

We obtained the grant through the Toyota Community Fund, a programme of small grants designed to help local charities, schools and community projects. In the past financial year, the fund has supported many deserving causes in the UK, from schools to cancer care charities.

Cassiobury Infant and Nursery School in Watford is a high-achieving, forward-thinking and dynamic school that enables all children to achieve. The school provides a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment, along with a library, Forest School and sports facilities for its nursery, reception and KS1.

The funding will be used towards building an outdoor shelter in the playground for the children to use as a play area on wet or cold days, as well as providing an additional shaded area during the summer months.

We’re thrilled to secure funding through the Toyota Community Fund and we hope the children enjoy their new play area.

Here’s what Charlotte Cooper, Headteacher at Cassiobury Infant and Nursery School had to say about the donation:

“We are extremely grateful to Steven Eagell Toyota St Albans for securing this donation through the Toyota Community Fund. The new play area this funding will help us build will have a lasting impact on the learning and well-being of our children, while demonstrating how local businesses and schools can work together to create meaningful opportunities for children in the community.”

The Toyota Community Fund is operated by the Toyota (GB) Charitable Trust on behalf of Toyota (GB) PLC and Toyota Financial Services, Registered Charity Number 327808.
