We were delighted to welcome two winners of the Good for Cricket Prize Draw to our Centres to collect their brand-new Toyota vehicles, marking the successful conclusion of a national fundraising campaign for grassroots cricket.
In 2025, Toyota GB became the Principal Partner of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), while also forming partnerships with Cricket Ireland and Cricket Scotland. The manufacturer’s support spans men’s and women’s international teams, disability cricket and initiatives designed to make the sport more accessible to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
As part of this, Toyota launched the Good for Cricket Prize Draw, giving grassroots clubs the opportunity to raise funds for equipment, kit, coaching and facilities. A total of 54 prizes worth over £230,000 were up for grabs, including brand new Toyota vehicles, vouchers and exclusive experiences. Importantly, 100% of the ticket proceeds were returned to participating clubs.
Our Centres across the East of England, South East, South West Midlands and the West Midlands played an active role in supporting the initiative, working closely with local clubs throughout the season. Collectively, we helped to raise nearly £60,000 across more than 150 participating clubs. Nationally, the campaign generated an impressive £290,710 for grassroots cricket.
The first prize winner, Sophie, visited Steven Eagell Toyota Wolverhampton to collect her new Toyota Corolla GR Sport, after purchasing her winning ticket in support of Wightwick & Finchfield Cricket Club. The second winner, Jonathan, collected his brand new Toyota C-HR GR Sport from Steven Eagell Toyota St Albans, having entered the draw in support of Swinbrook Cricket Club.
In addition to the prize draw, our Centres participated in a wide range of local events and sponsorships. We also showcased Toyota vehicles at events, displayed promotional materials at club grounds and proudly sponsored new team kits.
It’s been fantastic to see the positive impact of this campaign, both nationally and locally, and to celebrate the success of winners like Sophie and Jonathan. We look forward to continuing our involvement, starting with Get Set Weekend in March 2026, helping grassroots cricket flourish at every level.
The Toyota Good for Cricket Prize Draw will return in 2026.
