We are thrilled to have secured a £1,800 grant for Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, to support the charity in continuing its vital work of providing a lifeline for children and their families experiencing the trauma of childhood cancer.
We obtained the grant through the Toyota Community Fund, a programme of small grants designed to help local charities, schools and community projects. In the past financial year, the fund has supported many deserving causes in the UK, from schools to cancer care charities.
Each year, over 1,800 children are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund supports children and their families through the challenging and difficult cancer journey, including diagnosis, treatment and beyond. The charity's support is centred around four key pillars: financial support, emotional support, practical support and free respite breaks. These services are available to families 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
We’re thrilled to secure this funding through the Toyota Community Fund and we hope it helps to support Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund and the important work it does.
Here’s what Lindsey Bidwell, Relations & Partnerships Manager at Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, had to say about the donation:
"We are truly grateful to Steven Eagell Toyota Rayleigh for securing this incredible donation through the Toyota Community Fund. Their support embodies the true spirit of community, demonstrating how local businesses can make a profound difference in the lives of children and families facing the challenges of childhood cancer. This funding will enable us to continue providing critical support when it’s needed most, and we are deeply appreciative of their commitment to our cause."
The Toyota Community Fund is operated by the Toyota (GB) Charitable Trust on behalf of Toyota (GB) PLC and Toyota Financial Services, Registered Charity Number 327808.
