We proudly sponsored Stowupland Cricket’s Summer Camp in collaboration with Stowupland Parish Council, held in August at Stowupland Cricket Club in Suffolk. The camp provided local children aged 8-16 with a fantastic opportunity to experience cricket in a fun and engaging environment.
Over the course of three action-packed days, participants engaged in a variety of cricket sessions designed to develop their batting, bowling and fielding skills. Many of the children who attended were introduced to the sport for the first time. Games and activities were designed to help foster a love for cricket, while promoting physical activity and teamwork.
Thanks to our sponsorship, the camp was offered entirely free of charge, enabling children from all backgrounds to take part. We showcased one of our latest vehicles, the Toyota C-HR, alongside a range of branded promotional materials at the event, while participants wore t-shirts prominently featuring our branding.
Since Toyota UK was announced as the new Principal Partner of the England and Wales Cricket Board earlier this year, we have been investing heavily in grassroots cricket. This support is helping local clubs thrive by providing assistance with fundraising via the Toyota Good for Cricket Prize Draw, as well as supporting with ground and facility improvements, sponsorship opportunities and a range of other initiatives that help to strengthen the game at a community level.
